I write this letter in recommendation of Joe Martello as a general contractor. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Martello on the renovation of our basement and family room in 2008. The renovation included demolition of the preexisting finished basement back to bare walls and complete redesign. I highly recommend Mr Martello without reservation.

Throughout the course of the renovation, Mr Martello was a consummate professional. He was accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project. He was absolutely clear in his record keeping and time log. He chose and managed his subcontractors well.

In addition, he demands an extremely clean and tidy workplace, He ensured the work site was never left in disarray. Mr.Martello took special care to prevent any of the job dust from trailing through the house.

We are completely satisfied with the workmanship and end result. It has withstood the test of time and we love what Mr. Martello built for us. Not only are we happy with our new basement and family room, everyone who has seen it is impressed.

Recently, when my elderly parents needed assistance to complete a major renovation to their home, including interior and exterior work, I did not hesitate to recommend Mr. Martello. Problems were quickly resolved, and skilled professionals (electrical, plumbing, painting and tiling) were brought in at just the right times to keep the work progressing well. From the outset Joe & his team were excellent communicators, setting realistic expectations and ensuring we understood everything from project timing to inclusions.
